Our students and families will become responsible self-directed, life long learners with the skills necessary to live successfully in a global society.
We will uphold our mission by:
· Ensuring that children gain the skills and confidence necessary to succeed now, and later in school and in life.
· Ensuring that parents are always welcome and are recognized as the first and most important educators of their children, and that they are given opportunities to participate in policy making and in other decisions about the program.
· Ensuring that only the most dedicated, compassionate professional staff are employed to work with children and families, and that they are provided educational opportunities to further their child and family developmental skills.
· Ensuring that developmentally appropriate, attractive, safe, nurturing environments are provided for children and families.
· Ensuring that a broad range of integrated services is provided, meeting the needs of children and families.
· Ensuring that the child’s entire family, as well as the community, is involved in and benefits from the Head Start Program.
Our mission will be the guidepost by which all decisions are measured, for we believe that implementing this mission on a daily basis will equal success for children, families, staff and communities.
